Installation and Operating Guide pro.Bose.com Hardware Installation Rack Mounting the Chassis The chassis requires one 1.75" (44 mm) rack space unit (1RU) in a standard 18" (457 mm) deep rack. To secure the chassis to the rack, use four screws with washers (not provided) to prevent marring the front panel. Tip: Use of neoprene rubber washers are a good choice because they grip the screw head and prevent the screws from backing out from vibration or during transportation.
Installation and Operating Guide pro.Bose.com Balanced and Unbalanced Connections The ControlSpace® SP-24 sound processor features balanced XLR connections which can be modified at the cable for use with unbalanced equipment. Although balanced connections are preferred, an unbalanced connection can be made by tying together pins 1 and 3. Balanced Unbalanced USB Connection When using the SP-24 Editor software, connect the supplied USB cable from the SP-24 sound processor to a PC.

Updated loudspeaker Presets may be available and can be downloaded from pro.Bose.com. See, “Updating Firmware and Loudspeaker EQ Presets” on page 29 for instructions. Discontinued Bose loudspeaker EQs can be applied through the SP-24 Editor software.
