The current offset value is shown in the gain offset field above the
slider.

When the noise level is changed, the new value is used to
calculate STI. If the map is visible, it will be updated automatically.

Noise level meter and field
The noise playback level is displayed in dB SPL on the meter next
to the noise gain slider. The noise level field above the meter bar is
updated every 1.25 seconds, while the meter bar is updated every
250 milliseconds.
