Setting the Console’s Product, Region Variant
1. Follow the procedure on page 66 for Issuing TAP Commands
2. Enter the TAP command “ssv set X,X” (without the qoutes)
Where X,X corresponds to the Product, Region Code. Refer to the Variant Table below for the appropriate Prod-
uct, Region Code.
3. Turn off the console and remove power after it shuts down. Reapply power and check the Product, Region
Code by entering the TAP command “ssv” (without the qoutes). The console will respond with the current Prod-
uct, Region Code. Refer to the screen image below.
