Endless Hot Water for One Major

The compact and powerful WH27 & WH17 Tronic 5000 Series
electric whole house tankless water heaters can be installed
virtually anywhere inside the home. They are 97% efficient with
minimal stand-by loss and have modulating elements that
ensure a constant output temperature for hot water comfort.
Note: Bosch Tronic 5000 models require hard wiring.

Model WH17 is not recommended for whole house use in climates where
average ground water temperature is less than 60°F.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Specs are based on 240 V. Lesser
voltage (220 V or 208 V) will result
in reduced output. The unit will
not provide an output temperature
above 131˚F. Bosch Tronic 5000
models require hard wiring.
** In Canada unit must be wired to
a single breaker. AE Canada Kit
required.
† The WH27 requires 120 amps
service. This must be supplied
through three 40-amp double-pole
breakers in your breaker box. Your
house MUST have at least 200 amp
service.
†† The WH17 requires 80 amps service.
This must be supplied through two
40-amp double-pole breakers in
your breaker box. Your house MUST
have at least 150 amp service.
WATER CONNECTIONS:
¾" inch water connections are
required for the Bosch Tronic
WH27 and WH17. The water
lines both to the inlet & from
the outlet must be copper or
suitably rated stainless steel flex
line for at least 1.5 feet from the
water heater. Plastic or PEX type
plumbing line materials are not
suitable for connecting directly
to the water heater.

Note: If operating unit on 208V or 220V instead of 240V, choose the next higher output.
