Technical data

The following functionality is being prepared:
As
far as IndraWorks is concerned, in future the intelligent connec‐
tion module IndraControl VAC 30.2 will serve as wildcard for a firmly
projected CE operator terminal, for which the application is stored
in the IndraControl VCH 08.1on a server in the network or ideally in
the controller (see IndraWorks VCH configuration dialogs).
On every restart, the network settings that are read from the VAC 30.2 con‐
nection
module are applied to the IndraControl VCH 08.1. These settings can
be adjusted in Rexroth settings, see chapter 9.2.6 "Rexroth Settings" on page
61. These modifications are subsequently stored in the IndraControl VAC
30.2.
In certain cases the save function of the IndraControl VAC 30.2 is not available,
for example, with the direct wiring of the IndraControl VCH 08.1 in the switching
cabinet and also with a defective VAC 30.2 connection module. In such cases
the network settings are stored in a file in the IndraControl VCH 08.1. However,
the hand operated device is only connected to one single controller.
If a IndraControl VCH 08.1 that was previously connected to an IndraControl
VAC 30.2 is directly wired in a switching cabinet by cable exchange, or con‐
nected to an IndraControl VAC 30.2 with a defective memory function, this is
indicated with a message as illustrated in figure 7-17.
Fig.7-17: Notice that external memory functions cannot be accessed.
The message in figure 7-17 is confirmed with the "Apply data "key.
In the following dialog you can select whether or not you want to store the net‐
work settings in an inernal file in the IndraControl VCH 08.1:
