Fire Alarm Systems | STH Series Cluster Horn Loudspeakers

The Wheelock STH Series Cluster Horn Loudspeakers are

designed for high ambient noise environments such as

manufacturing plants, processing plants, and factories.

They

are

available in configurations with two, three, or four

horns that meet the requirements of UL1480. Each horn can

deliver up to 102 dB at 15 W at 10 ft (3 m).

Functions

Sound Settings

Each loudspeaker has a slotted rotating switch used to set

the output decibels. Refer to the installation instructions

packed with the product for specific information about

these settings.

Strobe Option

To provide

a visual indicator, any or all of the loudspeakers

can be detached from the enclosure and surface mounted

on a wall, ceiling, or the enclosure using an SBL‑R

Surface‑Mount Back Box with an SHMP‑R Adapter Plate and

an RSSP Series Retrofit Strobe Plate.

Note The RSSP Series Retrofit Strobe Plates can be

synchronized with each other using an SM or

DSM Synchronization Module or by a

compatible control panel.

Installation/Configuration Notes

Compatibility Information

The STH Series Cluster Horn Loudspeakers are compatible

with UL Listed 25 VRMS or 70 VRMS audio systems.

Mounting Considerations

Each of the horns is mounted on a galvanized steel

enclosure measuring 10 in. (25.4 cm) square by 6 in.

(15.2 cm) deep. Mount the enclosure on walls or ceilings

capable of supporting the weight of the cluster assembly.

Use appropriate fasteners.

Note These loudspeakers are for indoor use only and

are not intended for use in wash‑down areas.
