Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

When removing the bit from the tool avoid contact with skin and use proper protective gloves when grasping the bit or accessory. Accessories may be hot after prolonged use. Do not use dull or damaged bits and accessories. Dull or damaged bits have a greater tendency to bind in the workpiece. Do not run the tool while carrying it at your side.

(Model RH540M only) Pull and hold locking sleeve backward. Insert accessory into the tool holder through the dust shield, while twisting and pushing inward until it sets into place. Release locking sleeve to lock bit in place.

To turn the tool “OFF”, release the trigger switch, which is spring loaded and will return to the “OFF” position automatically. To increase switch life, do not turn switch on and off while tool is under load. SELECTOR LEVER The selector lever allows the tool to be set for various applications as listed in the following chart, (Fig. 4).

Utilisez l’outil électroportatif qui convient à la tâche à effectuer. L’outil qui convient à la tâche fait un meilleur travail et est plus sûr à la vitesse pour lequel il a été conçu. Ne vous servez pas de l’outil électroportatif si son interrupteur ne parvient pas à le mettre en marche ou à l’arrêter.

FIG. 2 (Modèle RH540M seulement) Tirez le manchon de verrouillage vers l’arrière et maintenez-le dans cette position. Insérez l’accessoire dans le porte-outil en l’enfilant dans le pare-poussière tout en le tournant et en le poussant jusqu’à ce qu’il prenne sa position.

Pour l’arrêter, relâchez tout simplement la gâchette. L’interrupteur, qui est à ressort, retournera automatiquement à la position d’arrêt. Si vous voulez que l’interrupteur dure davantage, évitez de l’actionner alors que l’outil est sous charge.

Use la herramienta mecánica correcta para la aplicación que desee realizar. La herramienta mecánica correcta hará el trabajo mejor y con más seguridad a la capacidad nominal para la que fue diseñada. No use la herramienta mecánica si el interruptor no la enciende y apaga.

Para apagar la herramienta (posición “OFF”), suelte el interruptor gatillo que está accionado por resorte y volverá a la posición “OFF” automáticamente. Para prolongar la vida del interruptor, no encienda ni apague el interruptor cuando la herramienta esté sometida a carga.
