There are two cable specifications for PROFIBUS-FMS and
PROFIBUS-DP:
Transfer Speed and Line Length
With the PROFIBUS, data can be transferred using different transfer
speeds. However, the higher the transfer speed, the shorter the maxi-
mum permitted line length. The values listed in the following table apply
to the cable type A which is more closely specified in DIN E 19245 part
3.
