Comment: Any string of characters enclosed between two dollar signs ($). Com-
ments can be inserted in the data set backup file at any position and
can stretch across several lines.
Example: $This is a comment$
Any number of separators (blanks, tab characters or line feed charac-
ters) can be placed between these language elements.
The above-mentioned language elements are used to create a file with
the following structure:
• Start of file identifier
• Any number of data sets
• End of file identifier
A data set consists of:
• Data set header
• Any number of data set variables
• End of data set identifier
