Fault Cause and troubleshooting
There is a smell of gas in the
kitchen.
A gas valve has been left on.

Turn off the gas taps.
Incorrect coupling of gas cylinder.
▶
Check the proper connection to the gas cylinder.
The gas pipe to the appliance is leaking.
1. Shut off the gas supply at the main gas valve.
2. Ventilate the premises.
3. Immediately notify an authorised installation technician to check and certify the
installation.
4. Do not use the appliance until you can be sure there are no gas leaks in the gas
supply line or the appliance.
The burner switches off immedi-
ately after releasing the control
knob.
The control knob has not been pressed down long enough.
1. Keep the control knob pressed in for a few seconds after ignition.
2. Push the control knob in firmly.
The grooves on the burner are dirty.

Clean the grooves on the burner.
The display shows F and a num-
ber.
There is an electronics fault
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Wait a couple of seconds and reconnect the appliance to the power supply.
3. If the message persists, call Customer Support.

12.1 Disposal of your old appliance
Environmentally compatible disposal allows valuable raw
materials to be recycled.
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
2. Cut through the power cord.
3. Dispose of the appliance in an environmentally compati-
ble manner.
Information about current disposal methods can be ob-
tained from your specialist dealer or local authority.

If you have any questions on use, are unable to eliminate
an issue in the appliance yourself, or the appliance needs
to be repaired, please contact our Customer Service.
We will work to find an appropriate solution for you thereby
avoiding unnecessary visits by a service provider.
With any warranty repair, we will make sure your appli-
ance is repaired by a trained authorized service provider
using genuine replacement parts. We use only genuine re-
placement parts for all repairs.
Detailed information on the warranty period and terms of
warranty can be found in the Statement of Limited Product
Warranty, from your retailer, or on our website.
If you contact the Customer Service, you will require the
model number (E-Nr.) and the production number (FD) of
your appliance.

13.1 Model number (E-Nr.) and production
number (FD)
You can find the model number (E-Nr.) and the production
number (FD) on the appliance's rating plate.
You can see the rating plate with these numbers when you
open the appliance door.
Making a note of your appliance's details and the Cus-
tomer Service telephone number will enable you to find
them again quickly.

STATEMENT OF LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
14.1 What this warranty covers & Who it ap-
plies to
The limited warranty provided by BSH Home Appliances
(“Bosch“) in this Statement of Limited Product Warranty
applies only to the Bosch appliance sold to you (“Prod-
uct“), provided that the Product was purchased:
¡ For your normal, household (non-commercial) use, and
has in fact at all times only been used for normal house-
hold purposes.
¡ New at retail (not a display, "as is", or previously re-
turned model), and not for resale, or commercial use.
¡ Within the United States or Canada, and has at all times
remained within the country of original purchase.
The warranties stated herein apply to the original pur-
chaser of the product warranted herein and to each suc-
ceeding owner of the product purchased for ordinary home
use during the term of the warranty.
Please make sure to return your registration card; while
not necessary to effectuate warranty coverage, it is the
best way for Bosch to notify you in the unlikely event of a
safety notice or product recall.
