WARNING:
If the hot water system is not used for two
weeks or more, flammable hydrogen gas
may accumulate in the water heater. To
dissipate this gas safely, it is recommended
that a non-electrically operated hot tap be
fully opened for 2 minutes. During this
procedure, smoking, open flames or
operating electric appliances should be
avoided.
DANGER:
Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids, such as
adhesives or paint thinner, in the vicinity of
this or any other appliance. If such
flammables must be used, open doors and
windows for ventilation.
CAUTION: Turn off power to water heater if
it has been subjected to overheating, fire,
flood or physical damage.
CAUTION:
Do not turn on water heater unless it is filled
with water.
CAUTION:
Do not turn on water heater if cold water
supply shut-off valve is closed.
WARNING:
If there's any difficulty in understanding or
following the Operating Instructions or the
Care and Cleaning section, it is
recommended to have a qualified person or
serviceman performing the work.
Flammable vapours may be drawn by air
currents from surrounding areas to the water
heater.
