7.2 Overview
7.2.1 User display
The user display has five soft buttons for operating the MP3 recorder (see following figure).

6. User display: displays user data and icons (see section 7.2.3).
7. Slot for SD card: Slot for inserting the SD card.
8. LED for SD card: LED is on during recording.
7.2.2 Modes of operation
Refer to Figure 7.1
Use button (1) to select the mode of operation. An icon appears in the top right-hand corner
of the display to show which mode is selected. The following modes are available (see
following table).
