Note:If you do not fill a bottle for some time, the selection

Setting the amount of water for the bottle fill option
Note:The maximum fill time is 60seconds.
1. Press .
2. Place a bottle or jug under the dispenser opening.
3. Press and hold + at the same time
until the desired amount of water is dispensed.
The light bar flashes during dispensing.
a This new amount of water is saved and will be dis-
pensed for the bottle fill option.
Button lock (childproof lock)
The button lock prevents the ice and water dispenser from
being operated accidentally or incorrectly while running.
Note:Ice cube production continues whilst the button lock
is active.

Permanent light
If you do not dispense ice or water for some time, the light
switches itself off.
You can permanently switch on the light on the ice and

Defrosting
14.1 Defrosting in the refrigerator compart-
ment
The refrigerator compartment in your appliance defrosts
automatically.
14.2 Defrosting in the freezer compartment
The fully automatic NoFrost system ensures that the
freezer compartment remains frost-free. Defrosting is not
required.

Cleaning and maintenance
To keep your appliance working efficiently for a long time,
it is important to clean and maintain it carefully.
Customer Service must clean inaccessible points. Clean-
ing by Customer Service can give rise to costs.
15.1 Care instructions for stainless steel sur-
faces
When taking care of and cleaning stainless steel surfaces,
use only cleaning cloths and cleaning agents suitable for
stainless steel.
Tips
¡ To prevent visible scratches, wipe the stainless steel
surface in the direction of the grain.
¡ Suitable cleaning agents and cleaning cloths are avail-
able from our customer service, your dealer or on our
website.
15.2 Preparing the appliance for cleaning

Switch off the appliance. → Page13
2. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Unplug the appliance from the power source or switch
off the circuit breaker in the fuse box.
3. Take out all of the food and store it in a cool place.
Place ice packs (if available) onto the food.
