Mounting Considerations
Mount the detectors on ceilings using 3.5-inch or 4-
inch octagonal back boxes, single-gang boxes, or 4-
inch square back boxes with a square-to-round plaster
ring. The mounting bracket is reversible for use in
either surface-mount or flush-mount installations.
Wiring Considerations
The terminal blocks accept wires from 14 AWG to
22 AWG (ISO 2.5 mm

to 0.34 mm

).
