7 1/4” CIRCULAR SAW
Anyone who uses tools knows what a ‘SKIL’ saw is because they’re
the standard in the industry: known for exceptional cutting accuracy, and
smooth power that won’t “bog down” under a heavy load, regardless of the
kind of wood; ‘green’ or ‘kiln dried’.
These are powerful 13 amp saws with 2.4 horsepower, all ball bearing
motors. They’ll cut 2 1/2” deep at 90° and 2” at 45°. It has a convenient
front depth adjustment knob and a rear depth adjustment, heavy duty safety
switch with lock-on feature, and an auxiliary handle built right into the
motor housing.
The foot, or base, of the saw is heavy duty, heat treated steel that will
not warp, even under intense heat. The blade wrench has its own storage
area in the base and the bevel adjustment is calibrated and is locked in place
with a wing nut.
These have the SKIL “Accu-Sight” feature built in to the base to keep
your cut on line. They also have a lower, anti-snag guard design to reduce
snags when making narrow cuts.
