CLASS # 19
1,000 WATT POWER INVERTER
A power inverter, quite simply explained, converts DC (Direct Current)
power into conventional AC (Alternating Current) power allowing you to
use your favorite electric devices when an AC outlet (household plug) is not
available. You simply connect an inverter to a battery source, e.g., car or
truck battery, plug in your device and you’re all set.
This inverter, by ‘Neiko Tools USA’, features 1,000 watts of continuous
power with a peak load of 2,000 watts. The included cable clamps bite right
onto the positive and negative terminals of a 12 Volt DC battery just like
standard booster cables.
There are two 110 Volt AC 3 Prong receptacles to plug in any electrical
device such as a television, computer, hand tools, small appliances etc. It has
overload and short circuit protection, and an overload indicator. This is not a
generator. It relies on a constant battery source to convert from DC to AC. It
has pre drilled mounting holes so the unit can be attached to a car, truck,
boat, RV or any other place where it will be near your DC power source.
