2.6.3 Power supplies
2.6.3.1 Introduction
The devices that supply power to the DCN are the
central control unit and the extension power supply
(refer to figure 2.1 and figure 2.2). The power that the
central control unit supplies includes the power that the
optical network uses.

If the power is higher than shown in figure 2.1,
an overload situation occurs (refer to section
2.6.4).
