VOORWOORD De Barista espressomachine is ontworpen als antwoord op de toenemende vraag van mensen die willen genieten van het verleidelijke aroma en de smaak van versgezette espresso of cappuccino, maar voor wie een traditionele machine thuis te groot of te kostbaar is. De machine heeft een ingebouwd waterreservoir en hoeft daarom niet te worden aangesloten op de waterleiding. Het water in het reservoir wordt elektronisch gereguleerd.

Beschrijving technische onderdelen De belangrijkste onderdelen van de Barista zijn: Boiler: Bevat heet water en stoom. Water voor het zetten van koffie wordt niet uit de boiler gehaald, maar komt uit de warmtewisselaar (zie hieronder). Koffiezetgroep en warmtewisselaar: Dit is het onderdeel waarin de filterhouder wordt geplaatst. Het hete water gaat naar de zetgroep. Daar begint het proces van pre-infusie, infusie en het zetten van de koffie.
Installatie Installatiewaarschuwing GELIEVE ZORGVULDIG TE LEZEN De fabrikant heeft getracht om te voorzien in alle mogelijke veiligheidsvoorzieningen om de veiligheid van de gebruikers te waarborgen. Echter, andere installatieomstandigheden of het verplaatsen van apparatuur kunnen situaties tot gevolg hebben die niet kunnen worden gereguleerd of voorzien.
De installatieprocedure moet in overeenstemming met de lokale elektriciteit- en veiligheidsvoorschriften van het land worden uitgevoerd. Een juiste werkwijze voor het plaatsen en installeren van het apparaat wordt hieronder beschreven (zie fig. 1): matisch geblokkeerd door de elektronische regeleenheid (ECU) om schade aan het verwarmingselement te voorkomen. Dit wordt aangegeven door het knipperen van de ledwaarschuwingslampjes (02) die zich op het bedieningspaneel met tiptoetsen bevinden (04).
Instellen van de koffiedosering Let op: Het programmeren van de toetsen moet binnen 10 seconden (per toets) gebeuren, anders wordt de programmeerstand automatisch uitgeschakeld. Zie ook fig. 02 hieronder: Bereid de filterhouder voor en vul deze daarna met ongeveer 7 gram gemalen koffie en bevestig de filterhouder aan de zetgroep. Plaats het juiste kopje/de juiste kopjes onder de filterhouder met enkele of dubbele uitloop.
Bereiden van (espresso)koffie Bereiden van 1 kopje: 1. Vul de filterhouder met 1 uitloop met ongeveer 6-8 gram gemalen koffie. 2. Druk de koffie aan. 3. Verwijder een eventueel teveel aan gemalen koffie van de bovenkant van de filterhouder. 4. Plaats de filterhouder in de zetgroep; draai de hendel eerst naar links om de houder te plaatsen en vervolgens naar rechts om hem vast te zetten. Let er op dat u de houder stevig vast draait, en verzeker u ervan dat de houder goed is geplaatst. 5.
Gebruik van stoompijp Maken van stoom Voor het maken van stoom voor warme dranken plaatst u de juiste pijp in de kan met de te verwarmen drank. Draai vervolgens de knop tegen de klok in en verwarm de drank tot de gewenste temperatuur. WAARSCHUWING: Hoewel de boiler is voorzien van een antivacuüm klep, moet de stoomklep altijd worden geopend voordat deze in de te verwarmen drank wordt geplaatst om terugstromen in de boiler te voorkomen.
Onderhoud Door de fabrikant aanbevolen reinigingsprocedures, uit te voeren aan het eind van elke dag: Reinig de afsluiting van de koffiezetgroep met een zachte borstel. Spoel de filtermand en filterhouder in warm water en voeg een speciaal reinigingsproduct toe welke geschikt is voor het dagelijks reinigen van koffieapparaten. Plaats de filterhouder met het gesloten filter op de koffiezetgroep. Druk op de stertoets voor het bereiden van koffie.

Avant-propos La machine à expresso Barista est conçue conçue pour répondre à la demande croissante des personnes qui souhaitent profiter de l’arôme alléchant et du goût d’un expresso ou d’un cappuccino frais mais pour qui une machine traditionnelle serait trop imposante ou coûteuse. La machine dispose d’un réservoir d’eau intégré et ne nécessite donc pas d’être raccordée au réseau d’alimentation en eau. L’eau du réservoir est contrôlée de manière électronique.

Si vous n’utilisez pas la machine pendant une période de temps prolongée, vous devez entièrement la vider et la ranger dans un lieu où la température ambiante est supérieure au point de congélation (0°C ou 32°F). Cette précaution permet d’éviter d’éventuels dommages au niveau des conduites et de la chaudière. Les procédures d’entretien doivent uniquement être exécutées par des techniciens agréés. Seules des pièces de rechange d’origine peuvent être utilisées.

Description technique Les pièces les plus importantes de la machine Barista sont les suivantes : Chaudière : Contient l’eau chaude et la vapeur. L’eau utilisée pour préparer le café ne provient pas de la chaudière mais de l’échangeur de chaleur (voir ci-dessous). Groupe de la cafetière et échangeur de chaleur : Il s’agit de la section de la machine dans laquelle se trouve le support de filtre. L’eau chaude est entraînée dans le groupe de la cafetière.
Installation Avertissement relatif à l’installation maux et autres. Vérifiez que toutes les pièces sont intactes et n’installez aucune pièce défectueuse ou endommagée. Les pièces défectueuses ou endommagées doivent être remplacées. À LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT Le fabricant s’est efforcé d’équiper la machine de tous les dispositifs de sécurité disponibles dans le but de garantir la sécurité des utilisateurs.
La procédure d’installation doit être effectuée conformément aux consignes de sécurité et électriques locales du pays concerné. La procédure d’installation de l’appareil est détaillée ci-dessous (voir l’illustration 1) : ment bloqué par l’unité de commande électronique afin d’éviter que l’élément de chauffage ne soit endommagé. Cette opération est indiquée par le clignotement des témoins d’avertissement (diodes lumineux) (3) qui se trouvent sur le panneau d’utilisation à touches (5).
Réglage des doses de café Voir également l’illustration 2 ci-dessous : Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche une fois la quantité de café souhaitée atteinte : le témoin correspondant s’éteint. Répétez les étapes 2, 3 et 4 pour régler les doses des autres touches de dosage. Préparez le support de filtre et remplissez celui-ci avec environ sept grammes de café moulu. Fixez ensuite le filtre sur le groupe de la cafetière.
Préparation d’un café (expresso) Préparation d’une tasse : 1. Remplissez le support de filtre à écoulement simple avec environ six à huit grammes de café moulu. 2. Tassez le café. 3. Le cas échéant, retirez le café moulu en trop de la partie supérieure du support de filtre. 4. Placez le support de filtre dans le groupe de la cafetière, placez le levier vers la gauche pour insérer le support, puis vers la droite pour fixer le support. Veillez à ce que le support soit bien fixé et correctement placé. 5.
Utilisation de la conduite de vapeur Formation de vapeur Pour former la vapeur nécessaire aux boissons chaudes, placez la conduite correspondante dans la canette de la boisson à réchauffer. Tournez ensuite le bouton dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre et réchauffez la boisson à la température souhaitée. AVERTISSEMENT : la chaudière est équipée d’une soupape anti-dépression.
Entretien Procédures de nettoyage recommandées par le fabricant, à exécuter à la fin de chaque journée : Nettoyez la fermeture du groupe de la cafetière avec une brosse douce. Rincez la nacelle et le support de filtre à l’eau chaude et ajoutez un produit de nettoyage spécialement conçu pour l’entretien quotidien des cafetières. Installez le support de filtre, équipé du filtre sur le groupe de la cafetière. Appuyez sur la touche en forme d’étoile pour préparer un café.

Introduction The Barista espresso machine was developed in response to the increasing demand from those who wish to enjoy the enticing aroma and taste of a freshlymade espresso or cappuccino but for whom a traditional machine would be too bulky or expensive to have at home . The machine has a built-in water tank and therefore does not need to be connected to a water pipe. The water in the tank is electronically regulated. The machine can easily be reset in order to prevent problems due to incorrect use.

It contains important information about correct installation, use and maintenance of the machine. Keep this handbook in a safe place so that you can consult it at any time if necessary. It must always be available for those who use the machine and for service technicians.
Any modifications to or opening of the machine performed by persons not authorized by the manufacturer will void all warranties covering the machine. The motor-pump must be positioned far from hydraulic pipes, heat sources, and electrical appliances unless it is protected by a water-resistant, ventilated enclosure. after which you will have to replace it with a new one. The machine may only be filled with drinking water. The machine has to be switched off whenever it is left unattended by the operator.

Technical Description The main components of the Barista are the following: Boiler: Contains hot water and steam. Water needed to brew coffee is not taken from the boiler but from the heat exchanger (see below). Coffee Delivery Group and Heat Exchanger: This is the component where the filter holder is inserted. The hot water goes to the delivery group. This is where the pre-infusion, infusion and brewing process of the coffee begins.
Installation Installation Warning 4. Check the integrity of all components and do not install defective or damaged parts. Ask for replacement of any defective or damaged parts. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY The manufacturer has tried too foresee all possible safety provisions to ensure the safety of the users. However, different installation or equipment relocation conditions can cause situations which cannot be controlled or foreseen.
The installation procedure must be performed in accordance with the local electrical and safety regulations of the country where the machine is being used. The correct placement and installation procedure for the machine is described below (see fig. 1): Remove the cup-tray (01) or hold it by the edges and slide it forward until you can get to the top opening of the internal water tank below (17).
Coffee Dosage Setting Note: Programming the keys has to be completed within 10 seconds (per key), otherwise the programming mode will automatically switch OFF. See also Fig. 02 below: 1. Prepare and fill the filter holder with approximately 7 grams of ground coffee and attach the filter to the delivery group. Place the appropriate cup(s) underneath the filter holder spout(s). 2.
Brewing (Espresso) Coffee Brewing a Single Espresso Cup: 1. Fill the filter holder with one spout with approximately 6-8 grams of ground coffee. 2. Press the coffee down. 3. Remove any ground-coffee overflows from the filter holder surface. 4. Insert the filter holder into the delivery group; turn the handle towards the left to enable insertion, then turn the holder handle towards the right until it locks into place. Make sure that you turn the holder firmly and that the holder is solidly in place.
Using the Steam Wand Making Steam To make steam for warm drinks, place the correct wand into the pitcher that contains the drinks to be heated. Turn the knob in a counterclockwise direction and heat the drink to the required temperature. WARNING: Although the boiler is fitted with a vacuum-release valve, always open the steam valve before introducing it into the drink to be heated to prevent possible back flows inside the boiler.
Maintenance Manufacturer-recommended cleaning procedures to be performed at the end of each workday: 1. Clean the seal of the coffee delivery group with a soft brush. 2. Rinse the filter basket and filter holder with warm water and add a special cleaning product that is suitable for daily cleaning of coffee machines. 3. Place the filter holder complete with the closed filter onto the coffee delivery group. 4. Press the “star” key for coffee delivery.
