Place the cover flap [3] on the side next to the exhaust
opening [1].
Allow the cover flap [3] to slide vertically into the guide
[2].
Gently press the narrow side of the cover flap [3] from
the top until you feel it slot into place.
Make sure the cover flap [3] is correctly fitted.
INFO If the cover flap is not fully in the slot after fitting,
it cannot be closed properly.
INFO If the grease filter or the cover flap have not been
properly fitted, error message E0 12 or E0 13
appears on the control knob display
(see Troubleshooting section).
8.2.4 Removing the maintenance tray
INFO The maintenance tray cannot be removed in the
following installation scenarios. Single installation,
adjacent 2nd extractor, adjacent wok cooktop.
INFO To remove the maintenance tray, the grease filter
and the filter tray must first be removed.

To unlock the maintenance tray [1], twist the two
locking levers [2] 90° outwards.
Remove the maintenance tray [1] from the cooktop
extractor.
Lift the cover flap [1] off upwards.
Reach into the opening in the cooktop extractor and
remove the grease filter [2] and the filter tray [3].
8.2.3 Fitting the cover flap, the grease filter
and the filter tray

Fit the filter tray into the exhaust opening.
Insert the grease filter into the exhaust opening.
Make sure the grease filter sits correctly in the opening
in the casing.
