string can be NULL terminated although the NULL is not required for parsing.

The semicolon ";" is used to separate Primary from Secondary server

Nortel option string. The Nortel designator Nortel-i2004-A is separated
from the Connect Server strings using a comma. The Connect Servers
are separated using a semi-colon.
