Basics

Numeric method
In a text entry screen, press
Options
to
switch entry methods until your
phone displays the

(numeric)
indicator.
Press keypad keys to enter the
numbers you want. When you finish
entering numbers, press
Options
to
switch to another entry method.
Symbol method
In a text entry screen, press
Options
to
switch entry methods until your
phone displays the symbols screen.
Delete letters & words
Place the cursor to the right of the
text you want to delete, and then:

Press
B
to delete one letter
at a time.
• Press and hold
B
to delete
all text.
External display
When your phone is
closed, the external
display shows the time,
date, status indicators,
and notifications for
incoming calls and other
events. For a list of phone status
indicators, see page 35.
