12. Transferring an ebook from the computer
You may also download an ebook from a computer and copy it to the Bookeen Diva e-reader via a
USB cable.
12.1 Installing Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)
Just go to http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions.html, then download and install ADE.
12.2 Opening ADE
Once ADE is launched, connect the Bookeen Diva e-reader to the computer using a USB cable so
that ADE can offer to authorize the Bookeen Diva e-reader with the AdobeID or Vendor ID login
details. The authorization of the device is required to read DRM-protected files.
If you have a Vendor ID, the name of the provider is eBookPass. Your username and password are
the same as the ones you used to create your Bookeenstore account.
The e-reader icon pops up on the left to indicate that it has been recognized by ADE.
