modecanbeswitchedonatanyoutputlevelandinany

F) Auto/Sleep Mode
The automatic and sleep modes can be activated by pres-
singbuttonF.Bypressingthebuttononce,theautomatic
functionisswitchedon(symbol Jappearsonthedisplay),
maintaining the optimum humidity of 55%. Control takes
placebymeansofoutputquantityandpre-settargetvalue.
Bypressingthebuttontwice,thesleepfunctionisswitched
on(symbol Kappearsonthedisplay),thetargethumidityis
55%;theoperationtimeissetat6hours;andthedisplay
brightness is automatically dimmed. The output level is re-
ducedtothelowestlevel,Low«L».
The hygrostat and output level setting cannot be changed.
IfthebuttonsBorCarepressed,theunitwillnolongerbe
in auto or sleep mode.

«Tank empty»
Thewaterquantityiseasytoseethroughthetransparent
water tank window. The display on the appliance also
showswhentheunitshouldberefilledwithwater.Ifthe
waterlevelfallsbelowtheminimumquantity,theappliance
automaticallyswitchesoff.Aredsymbol(L)appearsonthe
display.Whenwaterisadded,symbolL goes out and the
appliance continues operating.
M) Cleaning the appliance
TheletterMinthedisplayindicatesthattheappliancemust
be cleaned. This symbol comes on automatically every 2
weeks,dependingonthelevelofuse.Thedisplaycanbe
cancelled by depressing button A for 5 seconds.
N) Current/Desired Display
IfDESIREDappearsonthedisplay,thevaluein%nexttoit
signifiesthedesiredrelativehumidity,i.e.thedesiredvalue
isshown.IfthedisplayshowsCURRENT,thenthecurrent
relativehumidityisshown.
Cleaning the air washer (16 – 20)
Beforethebasecanberemovedfromtheap-
pliance,thewatertankmustberemoved.Todo
this, remove the cover above the water tank,
removethewatertankfromtheapplianceand
thenpulloutthebase(20).
• Regularcleaningisarequirementforhygienic,
trouble-free operation.
• Recommendedcleaningintervalsdependonair
andwaterqualityaswellasoperatingtime.
• Theairwashercaneasilybetakenapartfor
cleaningwithouttools.
Theairwashermustbeemptiedcompletelyandcleaned
iftheunitfilledwithwaterhasnotbeeninoperationfor
longerthanaweek.
RemovetheISSfromthebottombasebeforecleaning(20).
OnlyuseCalcOfffordecalcificationandcleaningofthepro-
duct.Damagethatiscausedbytheuseofothercleaning
agentsisnotcoveredbythewarranty.
Cleaning the water tank and bottom base –

• Removedepositsfromthebottombasewithaplastic
orwoodenbrushandadilutedcommercialdishdeter-
gent.
• Puttheairwasherbacktogetheraftercleaninginthe
opposite order.
Cleaning the evaporator discs (CalcOff) –

Pourthedecalcificationagentintothebottombasefilled
with water and allow it to soak; turn the disc package
severaltimesbyhand.Emptythebottombaseandrinseit
togetherwiththediscpackage.
Note:Athinlayerofcalcificationonthediscsincreasesthe
output of the evaporator!
Donotcleanthesoileddiscpackageinthedish-
washer!
Putthediscpackageandtheairwasherbacktogetherafter
cleaning in the opposite order.
Cleaning the air inlet filter – every 4 weeks

andcleanitwithavacuumcleaner.Donotcleanthefilterin
water!Thenreinsertthefilterintotheappliance.
