Introduction
Instructions for replacement of Bonaire Durango Filtercool pads
Before commencing any maintenance work on your unit, ensure it is
disconnected from the power supply.
1. Remove the Rear panel
a. Refer to the Durango Window Cooler Owner’s manual for detail
2. Remove the old Filtercool pads
a. Remove the spike and clip (discs) that fasten the side Filtercool pads to the Rear panel and
remove the side Filtercool pads.
b. After removing the side Filtercool pads remove the spike and clip (discs) that fasten the center
Filtercool pad to the Rear panel. Remove the center Filtercool pad.
c. NOTE: if the cooler has not previously had pads changed it may have integrated spikes molded
into the Rear panel. Integrated spikes will not require removal.
3. Install the new Center Filtercool pad
a. Fit the Center (large) Filtercool pad inside the rear panel.
b. Ensure the water distributor section is at the top of the Filter cool pad (see image below)
c. Secure the Filtercool pad using 4 spikes and clips. (see image below)
4. Install the new side Filtercool pads
a. Fit the side Filtercool pads inside the rear panel
b. Ensure the water distributor section is at the top of the Filtercool pads (see image below)
c. Secure the Filtercool pads using 2 spikes and clips. (see image below)
5. Refit the Rear panel
a. Refer to the Durango Window Cooler Owner’s manual for detail
