Inspection
Check electrical wiring and compo-
nents, retighten loose connections.

Bulb
Replacement
If headlamp is burnt, remove cab. Un-
plug connector from headlamp. Re-
move rubber
boot
and unfasten bulb
retainer clips. Detach bulb and replace.
If tai lliqht bulb is burnt, expose bulb by
removing red plastic lens. To remove,
unscrew the
two
(2) Phillips head
screws. Verify all lights after

ment.

for all lubrication and maintenance

Tracks
Inspect tracks for wear, cuts, missing
track inserts or broken rods and make
any necessary replacement.

WARNING:
Do not operate a

snowmobile with a cut, torn or
damaged track.
Lift rear of vehicle until tracks are clear
of ground then support
with
brace or
trestle. The snowmobile should be
stored in such a way
that
the tracks do
not stay in contact
with
cement floor
or bare ground.
O
NOTE: The tracks should be ro-
tated periodically, (every 40 days).
Do
not
release track tension.

CAUTION: To prevent track
y damage, temperature in the stor-
age area must not exceed 38° C (100°
F).
Suspension
Remove the bogie wheel sets from the
vehicle. Remove cross shaft from bogie
wheel set. Clean bogie wheel assembly
and cross shaft of dirt or rust. Grease
each bogie wheel until all old grease is
flushed out. Spray bogie wheel springs
with
metal protector. If unavailable,
wipe
with
cloth or rag soaked in oil.
Check condition of shaft and replace if
bent or worn. Apply
a coat
of
low
temp. grease on cross shaft.
