15.5 PROG SETUP Modes
15.5.1 PART/FIX MGMT Screen
There are a few new features available on this screen when the 4
th
axis option is enabled.
Fixture Location – The user can now select the 4
th
axis as a reference point from which
his offsets will be saved. The X axis is referenced from the face of the 4
th
axis, the Y and
Z axis are both relative to the center of rotation about the 4
th
axis. The A axis will be
referenced from its machine home position.
A Offset – Sets the offset between the 4
th
axis home postion, and the desired ABS 0
position that you want to work from. See figures below for a sample of how this works.
Mini DRO – The mini DRO in the bottom left corner now displays a live update of the
current 4
th
axis position, relative to home.
