14.13.5 Accepted M Codes
M Code Function
M00 A pause is generated. The axes will not move, but the motors will be engaged.
The spindle motor will not turn off.
M03 spindle on CW or FWD
M04 spindle on CCW or REV
M06 Tool change. The M06 is ignored, as the tool change on the ProtoTRAK is
accomplished by changing the tool number.
M07 Air Blast On.
M08 Flood coolant on.
M09 Coolant off.
M10 Air Blast Off.
M12 & M20 Send a pause to the indexer and wait for an “in position” response. M12
means to pulse the indexer at the beginning of an event and M20 means to
pulse the indexer at the end of the event.
M22 Brings the table to the part change position, useful at the end of programs.
