Using Your VX-760C as a Wireless Master or Slave
Using Your VX-760C as a Wireless Master or Slave
The VX-760C is equipped with advanced wireless ash functions, allowing you to re the ash remotely while
maintaining full TTL or manual control. In addition, the ash can be set to multiple channels and groups, giving
you a host of creative lighting possibilities.
Important terms: Here are the terms you’ll need to be familiar with in order to learn how to work with multiple
wireless ash units:
Master: This can be the camera’s built-in ash, a ash unit mounted on the camera, or a dedicated wireless
controller. The master controls how the slave ashes operate in wireless TTL mode. Only one master ash is
allowed in a multiple-ash photography setting. Note that not all cameras and ashes offer master capability.
Slave or remote ash: Flash units that are not directly connected to the camera and are controlled via the
master ash or a controller are called slave or remote units. There is no limitation on the number of slave ash
units that can be used at once.
