Problem Solution
The ash isn’t being triggered in
slave mode, or the ash is not
noticeable in the picture.
• Ensure the master ash is within transmission range (approximately
33’/10 m) and that the wireless sensor has a clear line of sight with
the master ash.
• The ambient light may be too high.
• Make sure that the ash is set to the appropriate slave mode.

The bottom of the image looks
dark.
• To fully illuminate your subject when shooting close-up photography,
tilt the ash down to the -15° position. (Page 24)
There’s a whining sound coming
from the ash.
• This is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. When the ash
heats up from continuous use, vibrations inside the unit may cause
this sound. It will dissipate as the unit cools.
