When lithium-ion batteries get cold, they lose some of their ability to supply power.
Tip: If you’re shooting in a very cold environment, you can keep power flowing to your flash by alternating two PocketMaxes. Keep one pack indoors at room temperature or in an interior pocket next to your body while using the other pack. Then switch the two packs when the one in use starts losing its ability to power your flash.
