The options of keypad’s displaying system events and indi-

options, examine the settings of the S2000-K and the net-
work controller being in use. For more about this, see Sec-
tion Programming of this Manual.
1. Connecting the S2000-K to a computer with the run
UProg Configuration Tool, make sure the Display
Events option and Indicate Alarms Options are acti-
vated for the keypad. Note, that indicating alarms can
be enabled only if displaying events is enabled.
2. Running the PProg Programming Tool or Orion Soft-
ware tools, make sure that:
- the S2000-K is enrolled in the list of devices con-
nected to the network controller, and
- the S2000-К is specified as the device the controller
translates events to, and
- the network controller is programmed to translate the
specified kinds of events occurred in the specified par-
titions to the S2000-K..
s The time displayed by the S2000-K
differs from that displayed by the
S2000/S2000M console
Such a situation can happen in case of the console pow-
er’s being off for some time.
To fix the problem, set the correct time of the
S2000/S2000M manually. After that, the console will au-
tomatically synchronize all the devices connected via the
RS-485 interface.
