Module Installation Jumper Selections BUS ASSIGNMENT 1. Turn off all power to the unit. Bus Assignment 2. Make all necessary jumper selections. This module can be set to operate so that the input signal can be sent to the main unit’s A bus, B bus, or both buses. 3. 4. Position the module in front of desired module bay opening, making sure that the module is right-side up. Slide the module onto the card guide rails. Make sure that both the top and bottom guides are engaged. 5.

Connections Ground Start Interface Troubleshooting PBX Ground Start Trunk T R 1. Check that trunk is a Ground Start type. Try other trunk style connections. If there is DC voltage on the telephone line, it is a station line and cannot be interfaced to this module. 2. Check jumper settings. 3. Check power supply connections and operation. 4. Check connection between CM terminal and the PBX’s ground. 5. Try reversing T & R connections.
