MIC/Line Mixers
Eight-input, dual-bus MIC/Line mixers that combine
superb performance with a generous array of simple-
to-use features in a single-rack space design. Both
models feature 8 independently assignable inputs switchable between MIC and
Line. Each input has a trim control, a switchable low-cut filter, and a
Main/Auxiliary bus output selector. Phantom Power is provided for condenser
microphones. Pluggable terminal strip connections. Separate inputs and out-
puts. Direct bus connection for cascading multiple mixers. Gain/Trim control for
each input. Input Level Control knob for each input. Output Level Control knob
for Main and Aux outputs. Sealed potentiometers for low noise, long life.
Input Modules
Supports different signal-source requirements, including the ability
to interface to balanced and unbalanced high- and low-level inputs,
stereo or mono, telephone systems and microphones. For M-Class
and Power Vector Series only.
Balanced Input
Stereo, high-impedance, balanced inputs. Professional-quality, low noise per-
formance. Mutable by higher priority modules. Variable ducking level when
muted. Fade back from mute. Screw terminal connections.
Part # BAL1S
Bridging Input
Daisy chain multiple amplifier inputs. Gain/Trim control. Ground isolated input
to eliminate ground loop. Input signal available at buffered output. Priority
assignable. Variable ducking level when mute. Buffered output not muted. Bus
assignable. RCA input and output connectors.
Part # BRG1R
Microphone Inputs - Electronic Balanced
Low-impedance. Gain/Trim control. Hi-Cut/Lo-Cut controls. Enhance control.
Noise gate with Threshold control. Limiter with Threshold control. 24V Phantom
power. Priority and Bus assignable.
Part # Description
MIC2S Screw terminals
MIC2X XLR connector
Mono AUX Input
Unbalanced mono input module. Gain/Trim control. Bass and treble controls.
Gate feature mutes lower priority modules. Mutable by higher priority modules.
Variable ducking level when muted. Fade back from mute. Bus assignable.
RCA connectors.
Part # MAX1R
Stereo AUX Input
Unbalanced stereo module. Gain/Trim control. Bass and treble controls. Gate
feature mutes lower priority modules. Mutable by higher priority modules.
Variable ducking level when muted. Fade back from mute. Stereo-to-mono
summing option. Bus assignable. RCA connectors.
Part # SAX1R
Telephone Input
Loop start or ground start trunk interfacing. Dry loop interface to paging ports.
Audio-activated paging in dry loop. Gain/Trim control; Noise gate and Limiter.
Mutes lower priority modules. Mutable by higher priority modules. Bus assigna-
ble and Transformer-isolated. Screw terminal connections.
Part # TEL1S
Output Modules
Automatically insert themselves into the mix bus signal path lead-
ing to the power amplifier stage when installed. For Power
Vector Series only.
Ambient Noise Sensor
Maximum Gain control. Ramp Speed control. Activity Threshold control.
Ambient mic input threshold control. Stereo Aux input (summed mono). Aux
level input control. Defeatable. Gradual fade back from mute. Connect up to 4
sensor mics (1 included). Mutable Input (lowest priority only).
Part # ANS1R
Compressor Limiter
Compressor Ratio control. Threshold control. Make-up Gain control. Bypass
switch. Unbalanced input. Gradual fade back from mute. Mutable Input (lowest
priority only).
Part # CMP1R
Parametric Equalizer
Two full parametric bands. Frequency control. 'Q' bandwidth control. Gain con-
trol. Bass and treble control. Unbalanced input. Bypass switch. Mutable input
(lowest priority only). Gradual fade back from mute.
Part # PEQ1R
Output Modules
(cont.)
PCM2000 Modules
Modules required for zone paging applications.
3-Zone Module
Provides 3 paging zone outputs. Increasing system capacity
is as easy as adding additional modules, up to 3 zones at a time. The zone out-
puts can drive 70V or self-amplified speaker systems. Relay driver outputs mir-
ror the state of each paging zone to control external equipment. If desired, the
system-wide background music can be disconnected and a separate music
source can be connected to any PCMZPM module. Background music can also
be inhibited in any zone.
Part # PCMZPM
Central Processing Module
Controls system operation and holds all programmed parameters. One required
for every three PCMZPM modules (9 paging zones).
Part # PCMCPU
Talkback Module
Allows 2-way, hands-free talkback communications throughout the paging sys-
tem. The built-in real-time clock allows up to 8 user-scheduled time tones to be
emitted in a specific group of zones. The clock can be synchronized with an
external master clock. Only one PCMTBM is required for the entire system,
when needed.
Part # PCMTBM
Telephone Interface Module
A universal interface connects to any type of telephone port, rapidly and trouble-
free. Provides input for night ringer and emergency page override. One
required per system.
Part # PCMTIM
