Zone Control Module
Three zone paging plus All-Call. Three easily programma-
ble zone groups (1-3 zones in each). One-way and two-
way paging (talkback operation requires TBA15 Talkback
Amplifier). One-hundred watts total power handling capa-
bility. Background music input. Directly interfaces to pag-
ing ports (requires contact closures), loop start, and ground start trunks.
Interfaces to station ports using TAMB Telephone Access Module. Selectable
pre-announce and confirmation tones signal back through the handset and over
the paging system. Built-in night ringer triggered from 90V ring or contact clo-
sure. Separate night ringer zone group. Separate volume controls for tones,
night ring, and background music. 24V or 48V talk battery option. Wall-mount
design. Industrial grade steel cabinet. External 24V DC @ 350 mA power
Part # ZPM3
Audio/Video - Amplifiers & Accessories
Telephone Paging Amplifiers
Provides signal-activated, automatic muting of
background music during a telephone page, and
gradual return of music following a page. Separate
volume controls for mic, paging, background music and
night ringer. Wall-mount design provides minimum protrusion from backboard
(TPU250 can also be rackmounted).
Three inputs: 1 TEL, 1 MIC (Lo-Z), 1 AUX (Hi-Z). Separate MIC input for low-
impedance push-to-talk microphone (TPU-B models only). Music input - muta-
ble by external contact closure (TPU-B models only) or activity on TEL input.
Built-in night ringer can be activated from 90V ring signal (TPU-B models only)
or external contact closure).

Talkback Amplifier
Permits loudspeakers to be used as microphones to
provide hands-free, two-way conversations through the
paging system. (Page port connection should be a duplex line for talkback
applications.) In the idle state, the amplifier uses the attached speakers as
microphones and feeds this signal out to a telephone line. Hands-free 2-way
conversations through the paging system. Works on 25V and 70V speaker
systems. Mute input forces amplifier into page mode. Wall or 19" rack mount.
Resettable circuit breaker with thermal protection.
Part # TBA15
MIC/Line Mixer/Pre-Amplifier
Five-input mixer/pre-amplifier. Four professional, low-
impedance, balanced microphone input through XLR
connector and one auxiliary port. Individual Phantom
Power switches for each input allow the use of both dynamic and condenser
microphones on the same unit. A bridging input permits simple interconnection of
multiple CAM2 mixers for system expansion without the need to sacrifice any
mixer inputs. Wide frequency response, low distortion, low-noise and high chan-
nel crosstalk isolation ensure superior sound quality. Balanced mixer output can
be switched between line level (+4 dBu) or microphone level (-50 dBu) for com-
patibility with a wide range of sound processing equipment. Master control vol-
ume. Five segment LED output level meter. UL and CSA Listed. Compact size.
Rack- or wall-mounted with RPK35B or WMK1.
Part # CAM2
PCM2000 Paging System
Provides robust zone paging for applications requiring 1
to 99 zones, and up to 32 paging zone groups. Its multi-
function modules ensure flexibility and future expansion,
with minimum time and expense. Emergency All-Zone
Override Paging input. All-Call function can be disabled.
250-watt power handling capacity (separate amplifier required). Operating with
70V and self-amplified (24V) paging system. No interruption of background
music in zones not being paged. Night Ring activated from 90V ring signal or
contact closure. Night Ring can be selected as either simulated ringer sound or
chime. Code-Call capability using pleasant chime sound. Tone signaling can be
directed into a specific group of zones; selected as tone burst, chime or 4 quick
beeps; selected to follow state of contact closure input or preset burst length.
Built-in real-time clock for time tones. Provides hands-free, 2-way talkback com-
munications in 70V paging system. "Privacy Beep" can be enabled in talkback
zones to prevent eavesdropping. *Separate amplifier required.

Telephone Access Module
Loop start, ground start and station port (90V ring up)
compatibility. 6000-ohm output. Built-in confirmation
tone indicating access to paging system (defeatable).
Built-in pre-announce tone produced over paging system
before announcement (defeatable). Adjustable tone volume. Works with one-
way and two-way (talkback) zones. Background music input with volume con-
trol. Suppreses background music during paging. Disconnect timer is
adjustable from 6 to 35 seconds (defeatable). Silence interval timer is
adjustable from 2 to 6 second of silence. Calling Party Control (CPC) signal
from switch immediately disconnects station port. No power supply needed for
station port interfacing. One normally open contact pair available for operating
external equipment. Punch-block connections (type 66). Wall-mount design.
FCC Part 68 approved. Dimensions are 8 1/8" x 4 1/2" x 1 7/8".
Part # TAMB
Single-Zone Telephone Interface
A single-zone telephone interface that is compatible with
all standard analog port types. A background music (BGM)
input with variable muting. An additional audio output pro-
vides a “page only” function (no BGM) for application flexibility. Built-in 24V DC,
1A power supply. Paging volume controls are provided for each of the outputs.
An output limiter function, with limiter active indicator, provides consistent page
volume. Contact triggered tones and night ring signals, as well as programma-
ble AUX relay contacts, are all programmed using DTMF tones through the dual
purpose override input. Plug-in terminal strips provide for easy installation. An
optional security cover/rack mount kit (RPKUTI1) is available.
Part # UTI1
Multi-Zone Telephone Interface
Expandable from 3 to 12 zones in 3 zone increments
using ZX3 expansion modules. Each zone has its
own buffered paging output (150 speaker drive
capacity) with volume control, a C-form relay contact and “zone active” indicator.
Each module includes a pluggable 24V DC power distribution terminal strip and
pluggable terminal strips for each zone for easy wiring. A built-in 24V DC, 1A
power supply is provided for powering amplified speakers. The UTI312’s univer-
sal telephone interface is identical to the UTI1. Two background music (BGM)
inputs, with volume controls, provides each zone with a choice of BGM sources
or no BGM. Two tone triggers are available as well as a 90V night ringer input.
