This device
provides high
quality recording and playback of audio pages, thus
eliminating acoustical feedback by breaking the loop
created by the telephone handset and paging speaker.
The page is first recorded, then played back as soon
as the source handset is placed on the hook. New
messages may be recorded while another is played,
and up to eight messages may be stacked for
playback. User selectable loop start trunk or four–wire
dry loop input interface allows compatibility with a
wide range of premise equipment. Selectable 8ohm or
600ohm unbalanced outputs will connect to most

Activated Relay
This device
monitors audio
activity over a
wide range of
input voltages and
operates a DPDT
relay. It may be
used to detect voltages as low as that directly from
a microphone, or as high as from a 70V speaker
system. Inputs include: Mic level, 600ohm line
level, 25V and 70V distributed speaker level. A low
level, transformer isolated, 600ohm output is also
made available for use with other equipment,
allowing this to be used as a balanced, low
impedance microphone preamp. Features:

Signaling Tone
Generator
Multiple tone
generator is
designed to
generate four
distinct signals;
pulsed tone, slow
whoop, repeating
chime and steady tone. It is an excellent source for
alarm or pre-announce signals in public address or
telephone paging systems. Each of the four signals
may be applied continuously (until interrupted), or
limited to a double-burst (except for the steady tone)
for pre-announce applications. Signals are triggered
by an external device providing a contact closure.
Output level and pitch control are adjustable.
Accepts Hi-Z input from a program source such
as a tuner, turntable, cassette player, etc., and
will maintain precedence over the program material
for the duration of the contact closure. Requires
12~48VDC, 26mA, adaptor (PRS-40C) available
separately. All input and output connections are

Five Channel Mixer/Preamplifier
Ideal for expanding the number of inputs on PA
amplifiers, this unit provides four low impedance,
balanced XLR mic inputs, and one unbalanced RCA type line input.
Individual phantom power switches for each mic input allow mixing of both dynamic and
condenser mics. Bridging in/outputs allow multiple mixers to be daisy–chained, without sacrificing inputs.
Each input channel has its own level control and LED clipping indicator. Five–segment output level meter
displays overall gain. Outputs consist of an unbalanced line level RCA type, plus a balanced XLR, which may be
switched between line level (+4dBu), and mic level (-50dB).
