To Reconfi gure for Right-Side Mounting:
a.) Place the latch on a  at surface, with the “ nger”
brackets facing the right, as shown (Fig. 5).
b.) Hold the lock nut with a 7 mm wrench and remove
the swing arm retainer screw with a small phillips
screwdriver, using caution not to misplace the
screw, lock nut, or spacer washer (which is
between the swing arm and the post plate) (Fig. 5).
c.) Carefully remove spring from the post plate and
swing arm with small needle-nose pliers, using
caution not to bend or break the hooked ends of
the spring (Fig. 6).
d.) Flip the post plate over, so that the “ nger”
brackets face the left (Fig. 7).
e.) Flip the swing arm over so that the hook at the
open end is facing downward, as shown (Fig. 7).
f.) Slide the retainer screw through the mounting hole
in the post plate and place the spacer over the
screw (Fig. 8).
g.) Slide swing arm onto screw, then tighten lock nut
onto screw (Fig. 8).
h.) Re-attach the spring, as shown (Fig. 9).
