System control tasks
The following sections contain instructions for performing specific
system control tasks.
Power on the LPS
Use this task to start the LPS:
Step 1. Press the Local button on the operator control panel (see figure 4-2),
unless otherwise instructed.

Step 2. Press the System Power On button on the operator control panel
(see figure 4-3).

The Power indicator lights.
• If you have the PC UI, the desktop appears.
• If you have the system controller/keyboard display, READY $
appears on the display.
