Using The X-Change System (Cont’d)

Removing Bucket Or Attachment (Bolt On X-Change)

Park the Excavator on a flat, level surface. Put the bucket

on the ground [Figure OI-80].

With the engine off, turn the start key to the ON position

and move both hydraulic control levers to relieve hydraulic

pressure.

Remove the two bolts (Item 1) and plate (Item 2)

[Figure OI-81].

Start the engine, raise the boom approximately 300 mm

and extend the bucket cylinder until the X-Change pins

(Item 1) engage the hooks (Item 2) [Figure OI-82] on the

bucket.
