Disassembly (Cont’d)

Remove the screw and washer (Item 1) [A] from the

shaft.

Remove the snap ring from the cap end of the housing

[B].

Press the shaft from the housing [C].

NOTE: Both bearings may come out of the housing

with the shaft. If one bearing remains in the

housing, use a non metal object to tap the

bearing from the housing.

Press the bearing from the tapered end of the shaft [D].
