d the page you have input, and which is
shown at the top left, does not ap-
pear and the figures continue to run
indefinitely?
There is no information on the page in
question: select and enter a different
page
d you call up the "Teletext" function in
the TV menu, but nothing happens?
The station you have selected does
not transmit teletext pages.

What to do if ...
d no TV stations can be selected?
The national TV broadcasting format
(PAL, SECAM, NTSC) has not been
programmed correctly; see page 72.
If you have reset this format, always
move on to "Search" or "Autostore"
afterwards, and never choose "Pro-
gramme" first, or else the set will con-
tinue to look in vain for stations
stored in a different format.
d you cannot receive a TV picture even
when the car is standing still?
Make sure that the handbrake or
parking brake is applied: in some
countries, TV viewing is only permit-
ted with the brake applied.
d you cannot receive TV sound while
driving the car?
You are in a SECAM reception area,
in which the sound as well as the pic-
ture is suppressed while the car is
being driven.
d the picture quality is impaired?
The direct line of sight between the
transmitter and receiver is currently
obstructed by large buildings or topo-
graphical features.
