Television (TV) Radio-controlled clock in the BMW 7 Series
This enables you to use it anywhere in
the world with the multi-standard re-
ceiver (PAL, SECAM, NTSC).
The radio-controlled clock always
shows the correct time and date. It
corrects itself at regular intervals.
The rear-window aerial picks up a radio
signal from which the receiver deter-
mines the time and date.
The radio signal is broadcast by a cen-
tral transmitter. The time shown by the
radio-controlled clock is first checked
approx. 4 minutes into a journey. When
the car is parked, the time is monitored
once during the night, and adjusted if
necessary. The radio-controlled clock
therefore does not need adjusting man-
ually for the changeover between sum-
mer and winter time.
