Destination input in detail
5 Localize the destination with the
cross-hairs:
d Turn to select "Cursor".
d Press to confirm this.
d Turn and choose the horizontal
point of intersection.
d Press to retain this value.
d Turn to choose the vertical point of
intersection.
The map scrolls across the monitor
as soon as the cross-lines reach
the edge.
d Press to retain this value.

6 Transfer to the destination guidance
system:
d Turn until "Save destination" is high-
lighted.
If the scale is greater than 1 km, the
"Save destination" function cannot be
selected.
d Press to transfer the destination.
You can also use the destination
input map function without speci-
fying a place name. This allows you to
select a destination with the cursor and
then transfer this information to the
guidance system.c

The map CD currently inserted also
contains various places of interest in
the country or region in which you are
currently travelling in your BMW; these
are summarised by category.
Select a destination from one of the
lists, and transfer it to the destination
guidance system.
1 Select "Delete destination" during
destination input.
2 Select "Information".
3 Select "Info on destination".
