Check the coolant level
through aperture 1 in the side
panel.
Coolant, specified level
between MIN and MAX
marks on the expansion tank
If the coolant level is too low:
Top up the coolant.
If the coolant level is too high:
Seek the advice of a specialist
workshop, preferably an author-
ised BMW Motorrad dealer.
Topping up coolant
Remove the left side panel
( 98).
Open cap 1 of the coolant ex-
pansion tank and top up the
coolant to the specified level.
Check the coolant level ( 72).
Close the cap of the coolant
expansion tank.
Install the left side panel
( 99).
