Replacing LED for brake
light and tail light
The LED rear light can be
replaced only as a complete
unit. Consult a specialist work-
shop, preferably an authorised
BMW Motorrad dealer.
Replacing bulbs for front
and rear turn indicators
with LED turn indicators

The LED flashing turn indic-
ators can be replaced only as
a complete unit. Consult a
specialist workshop, preferably
an authorised BMW Motorrad
dealer.
without LED turn indicators
OE
Make sure the ground is level
and firm and place the motor-
cycle on its stand.
Switch off the ignition.
Remove screw 1.
Pull the glass out of the re-
flector housing at the threaded-
fastener side.
Press bulb 2 in, turn it counter-
clockwise and remove it from
the bulb housing.
Replace the defective bulb.
Bulbs for flashing turn
indicators, front
R10W / 12 V / 10 W
Use a clean, dry cloth to hold
the new bulb in order to keep
the glass free of foreign matter.
