Starting points for opening the doors on the A-and/or B-pillar
1. Use the hydraulic emergency spreader to force the window frame apart. This produces a larger gap between
the front door and B-pillar and/or between the front side panel and front door.
2. Use the emergency spreader to increase the gap at the same height as the hinges.
The precise position of the hinges for each vehicle is drawn on the emergency services cards.
3. Open the door on the side of the hinges or lock (use the lock side for vehicles without horizontal side impact
protection).

Forcing dashboard forwards
There are various ways of pushing the dashboard forwards.
