The high-voltage rescue separation point plays a crucial role in vehicle manufacturer safety concepts. Its function is
always the same, i.e. to interrupt the circuit between the high-voltage battery and the vehicle. The circuit outside the high-
voltage battery and therefore the entire high-voltage system is interrupted immediately when the plug connection of the
high-voltage rescue separation point is removed.
