Some people dream in color. The Z Roadster drives in color. That’s the vision of artist Robin Rhode, who was commissioned to introduce the
next-generation Z in his own, individual style. His paintbrush: a new Z outfitted with special paint nozzles. Rhode first finger-painted his idea on
paper, then choreographed it as a series of time-lapse sketches. As a stunt driver carefully followed the design, paint was sprayed onto individual
tires in precise amounts, leaving tracks in five different colors. More than  cameras, directed by filmmaker Jake Scott, recorded the event.
After seven hours, it was finished: a unique visualization of the joy of driving the all-new BMW Z Roadster.
