When you’re far from home – or just in the next town – it’s easy to fi nd your
way with confi dence and peace of mind with the convenient features and
services available on your BMW. Vehicles equipped with BMW Assist come
with four years of a wide range of services at no additional charge.
BMW Assist Safety Plan gives you peace of mind knowing that a friendly
response specialist is there to help you 24/7, at the touch of a button. The
Safety Plan includes Automatic Collision Notifi cation, Emergency Request
(SOS), TeleService, Enhanced Roadside Assistance, Door Unlock, Stolen
Vehicle Recovery, Customer Relations and MyInfo.
The BMW Assist Convenience Plan adds operator-assisted Directions,
Traffi c and Weather reports, BMW Search and Concierge services to not
only recommend restaurants and hotels, but then also send the destination
address and phone number right to your BMW. You can make up to four
Critical Calls if your cell phone is not available or its battery is discharged.
In most large cities, Real Time Traffi c Information makes you aware
of traffi c congestion before you encounter it. This feature displays and
describes current local traffi c information on your control display; in case
of delays greater than fi ve minutes, it suggests alternate routes.
MyInfo allows you to send business locations and street addresses to
your BMW from Google Maps. Destinations and phone numbers can
be accessed and exported to your Navi gation system for immediate
route guidance, while you can call the destination with your Bluetooth
®
linked phone.
BMW Search™ allows online access to up-to-date fuel prices, the latest
weather forecasts, Bloomberg stock indices and the powerful reach of
the Google Maps database – delivered on your control display inside your
vehicle.
