feats. Near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution and rear-wheel drive ensure sporty handling. The suspension – a stiff yet
lightweight aluminum double-pivot front; ⇒ ve-link fully independent rear – is sport-tuned for amazing responsiveness.
Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) ensures precise handling and stability in less-than-optimal conditions. Active Steering,
an innovative option available in the 135i, automatically changes the steering ratio based on vehicle speed, for steering
that’s more stable at higher speeds, and more immediate at lower speeds. It’s advanced engineering like this that keeps
the BMW 1 Series Convertible well ahead of the curve.
