Warranty

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Functional hardware products (specifically, hinges and slides) distributed by Richelieu (the “Products”)

are warranted to the original, non-commercial owner against defects in materials and workmanship.

Should a Product fail due to manufacturing defects, it will be repaired, without charge, or replaced, at

our discretion. Richelieu further expressively reserves its right to refund the purchase price paid for any

failed Product as its sole and exclusive warranty remedy.

This warranty expressively exclude damages caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal

wear and tear, modification and/or installation of the Product in any unapproved manner or in a manner

which may otherwise influence the function and/or the performance of said Product, overloading of the

Product, use of the Product under extreme or abnormal conditions, either intentionally or by error, or

result from improper storage or transport and/or from natural breakdown of colors and materials over

extended time. Damages not covered under warranty may be repaired for a reasonable fee.

Products returned for warranty purposes must be shipped pre-paid and insured. Richelieu will not be

liable for lost in-bound packages.

This warranty policy supersedes all prior warranty policies and SHALL CONSTITUTE THE SOLE AND

EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY RICHELIEU WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, IN LIEU OF ANY AND

ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE. ALL

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,

NON-INFRINGEMENT AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED.

This warranty shall be governed by the law of the State of Delaware, without regard to any conflicts of

law principles. The purchaser agree that the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the

International Sale of Goods and the United Nations Convention on the Limitation Period in the

International Sale of Goods shall not apply to sales of the products covered by this warranty.
